Ja, ja ich weiß, ich bin mal wieder viel unterwegs. Heute (Sonntag, 24.1) in Baltimore, Maryland. Wir hatten uns eigentlich auf einen schönen Tag eingestellt. Stattdessen war es ziemlich kalt und es hat geregnet. Naja, wir haben dann das Aquarium besucht und waren im Hard Rock Cafe. Die Stadt an und für sich hat uns nicht so gut gefallen und wir haben beide ein sehr mulmiges Gefühl gehabt als wir in der Abenddämmerung durch die Straßen gelaufen sind. Auf dem Weg zurück nach Hause musste ich dann auch noch ca. 20 Min. von der Zugstation nach Hause laufen, es hat zum Glück nicht geregnet. Trotzdem hatten wir aber einen sehr lustigen Tag.
I am traveling again. This time we went to Baltimore. I was actually supposed to be a nice day. But it turned out to be cold and rainy. So we visited the Aquarium and the Hard Rock Cafe. We didn´t feel that comfortable walking around the city in the evening. We were also happy to be back home again.
Aquarium Camden, New Jersey
Heute ist Samstag, der 23.1. meine Freundin Kerstin und ich haben uns dazu verabredet gemeinsam nach Camden zum Aquarium zu fahren. Von Philadelphia aus fährt da auch eine Fähre direkt hin, da man ja nur über den Delaware River rüber muss. Als wir dann an der Fähre angekommen waren, haben wir nach einer Weile warten rausgefunden, dass die Fähre nicht fährt. Man hat uns aber eine Beschreibung gegeben, wie man am besten mit dem Bus hinkommt. Also sind wir zurück zur Busstation gelaufen und haben dann den NJ Transit Bus nach New Jersey rübergenommen. Fahrzeit ne gute Stunde, Kosten $1,45. Am Aquarium angekommen haben wir uns eine schöne Zeit gemacht. Als wir dann das Gebäude verlassen haben ist die Sonne gerade über Philly untergegangen. Das war super, die Stadt hat sich im Delaware River gespiegelt.
Today (01/23) my friend Kerstin and I went to the Aquarium in Camden, NJ. We had planned to take the ferry but then we found out that it is not running. Instead we had to take the bus. It took us about an hour and we payed $1,45. We had a good time at the Aquarium. As we left the building we saw a great sunset.

18.1. Patricks Geburtstag
Heute ist der 18.1 es ist Patricks Geburstag. Am Freitag den 15.1 sind Susan und Patrick nach Phoenix, Arizona geflogen. Sie wollten Susans Schwester anfeuern, da sie dort einen Halbmarathon gelaufen ist. Somit waren Pat, die Mädels und ich das ganze Wochenende alleine zu Hause. Am Montag gegen Abend sind dann Susan und Patrick wieder aus Arizona eingetroffen. Es gab Pizza und natürlich einen Kuchen für das Geburtstagskind. Anschließend durfte er seine Geschenke auspacken.

Am 9.1 war ich zusammen mit Kertin im Kino. Eigentlich wollten wir uns Avatar in 3D anschauen, doch hierfür hätten wir uns schon die Ticket online kaufen müssen. Außerdem haben sich die Leute schon Stunden vor dem Film im Kino versammelt, weil man hier keine Plätze vergibt sondern wer zu erst kommt bekommt halt gute Plätze. Also haben wir uns dann umentschieden für Sherlock Holmes. Der Film war ganz gut. Es ging um einen Lord der schwarzer Magie gewirkt hat und dabei jedemenge Leute umgebracht hat.

Eine wahre Lebensgeschichte: The Blind Side
Heute (6.12) war ich mit Katharina im Kino. Wir haben uns den Film The Blind Side mit Sandra Bullock angeschaut. Es ist eigentlich eine sehr traurige Geschichte, die mit viel Humor dargestellt wird und somit doch sehr lustig ist. Auf jeden Fall sehenswert.

Disney on ICE
Heute (2.12) war ich mit Kerstin bei Disney on ICE. Ich sag euch, das war eines der schönsten Erlebnisse seit langem. Es ist auf jeden Fall wert sich sowas anzuschauen. Bilder gibt wie immer in meinem Fotoalbum.
